This year Fossa N.S. engaged with the Kerry Music Education Partnership to provide after school music lessons as part of their ‘Take Note’ music programme. Lessons lasted 30 minutes and were scheduled from 2:50pm – 3:50pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Both pupils and parents were delighted with their musical learning and enjoyed the experience of learning the drums or guitar with their peers. Many thanks to Ms. Hayes for organising the set-up of the programme in our school and to the Parents Association for fundraising the purchase of instruments. Further information on this musical initiative can be found on http://kerrytakenote.ie/schools
