2nd Class pupils visited the Killarney National Park Education Centre in Muckross on Monday for their school tour.
They spent the majority of the day outdoors exploring our beautiful National Park. The students collected various insects & bugs and got to examine them under a microscope. They learned about a range of different indigenous animals and they also got to meet a bank vole & a wood mouse! Finally, they inspected the lake to see if they could spot any aquatic creatures. They all enjoyed the fun & educational day out.

The following Monday, the boys and girls were allowed to wear their Holy Communion outfits to school and they enjoyed a relaxing day and even got some sweet treats!
